Big Rebel Yell. y'all!! Great site. Got to it after reading article in paper about T. N. Alexander's Rebel Yell. Unbelievable! My grandfather did a yell very similar that he said he learned from his daddy who was a CSA veteran! Was always skeptical of its authenticity till today! Thanks

Nice to find you all, moved down here from Connecticut in 88 and was a drum majorette in 1976! Had a lot of fun then, and wish to let my 2 sons do something similar! They have a great, great, great uncle whom was in the 26th NC calvary. Hope to keep in touch and maybe when their of age they will be interested? Keep up the great work and maybe we will see you all at an event. Thank you.

In reference to previously posted and now thankfully-deleted guestbook comments, let me say that this site is well-thought-out and has been beautifully executed (okay, pardon the pun). Congratulations and many many kudos to the work of the Carolina Legion, who are preserving our nation's heritage. The past isn't always pretty, but we must share it with our children so that they may learn from others' experiences.

Would like to invite you to come join us on 16 August for the 113 year of
celebration of the Old Soldiers Reunion Parade in Newton, NC. This parade was originally started to honor the Civil War Soldiers. In later years it is held to honor all
veterans. Various re-enactors come to town for the parade, also the Sons of Confederate Veterans participate as well as having a recuitment booth. This is an all day event,
with various booths. The parade starts at 5:00pm. Line up begins around 4:30pm. Please let me know if you will be able to attend.

I am new to re-enacting, well to tell the truth I haven't even been in
one yet. My first re-enactment is supposed to be next weekend at Raesaca Ga I will be a Yankee. Well I was just droping in, and hope to hear your music on
saturday. If my great great great grandfather could see me in a Fedral Uniform he would probably kill me, but I have just as much respect for those people as
I do for my own ancestors. Well just again great web site, and hope that I get to meet you all in Ga, Im sure it will be loads of fun. See ya later -Cody

I recently purchased the 2nd Maryland's very good CD, "It's Those
Marylanders Again!" The Carolina Legion sound is far superior in my estimation: more sophisticated, polished, professional, authentic, and more fun to
listen to! So, on the "whether to produce a CD" question: go for it guys! You are the best!
