This lovely 2 - bedroom 1.5 - bath home with private dock is located in an imaculate, residential, gated senior mobile home community. The house is a double-moduled mobile home located near the end of the street on a peninsula that extends into the beautiful Old Tampa Bay. Situated within a few miles of the Gulf of Mexico, we are blessed with a MODERATE CLIMATE , Winter and Summer
This is a NON-SMOKING RENTAL. We are quite serious about this. Owners cannot PHYSICALLY TOLERATE cigarette or cigar smoke and security deposit will be forfeit upon discovery of ANY indication of smoking in the house or on the grounds of the house. If you smoke, just go somewhere else and leave our air clean. .

There are several very nice public beaches just across Gandy Bridge or on Picnic Island (8 minutes from the house!). These are not the tourist beaches, they are beaches that Tampa "Locals" who are "in the know" use.... They have trees to set up your chairs under, or plenty of sunshine if you prefer..
AND .... THEY ARE FREE !!!!!Check this out!

Beaches at ClearwaterIf you are interested in Clearwater, with its great beaches, it is about 30 minutes north west of this house. These tourist beaches are guaranteed to be busy with lots of people in and out of the water. The water is incredibly clear, in the event you did not catch the name.

Old Tampa Bay is within view of your dining room window providing magnificent sunsets each evening and is accessible via canal right from your dock in the back yard.![]()

Watch the dolphins and water birds in your back yardSeveral times each week, dolphins cruise behind the house. The seawall behind our house is a favorite fishing area for fishermen who are trying to catch snook, trout, sheepshead and redfish. This is probably the same reason the dolphins are so interested in these canals.
We also have a Great Blue Heron strutting around daily as well as a "resident" pair of Mallard Ducks. These birds are frequent vistors to the neighborhood. The canal is home and dining area for a neat flock of Pelicans. They are ever vigilant for that free handout of fish .... Soooooo ..... Keep an eye on your catch!

Catch Redfish, Snook, Sheepshead! Right off the seawall at your back yard. If you are here in the SUMMER, you can try your luck at catching a TROPHY TARPON! Tampa Bay is place to be during the summer months for these beautiful fish (No Saltwater License Required for "seawall fishing " in Florida)
Fishing poles come with the house... You can catch bait fish from the seawall, put them on the fishing poles provided and catch fresh fish that you can prepare on the outdoor BBQ in the back yard.

This house has been completely gone over. It is very nice and clean... There are 2 1/2 bedrooms, Master Bedroom with Queen-size bed, middle bedroom with Twin-size bed, and 3rd bedroom/florida sunroom with a day bed.
YES YES YES !!! ... We do have air conditioning and central heat....

Provided with the houseThe house comes with all linens for beds, baths, and kitchen. Electric stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, microwave, Kitchen Aid Mixer, electric coffee maker, Outdoor Gas BBQ (for all the fish you catch), golf cart, two bikes, etc.

The Florida attractions in Orlando are about 90 minutes by car from our house. The Interstates offer easy access to the Orlando attractions. It is easy to drive to the Orlando area, enjoy a day's worth of attractions and return to the house that evening.

Restaurants and Shopping Centers:There are several excellent restaurants within 20 minutes of the house. The tab at these can run from $20 to $50 per person. I would not hesitate to recommend "The Colonnades" on Bayshore Blvd for a great evening out.
There are also numerous and very popular 'buffet' type restaurants that have excellent food for reasonable prices... $7.00 to $10.00 per person. There are several inexpensive seafood restaurants where excellent food costs from $5 to $10 per person per meal.
An exceptionally GOOD seafood resturant is located right across Gandy Bridge (5 minutes from the house), called "The Crab Shack". This place has to be EXPERIENCED to be believed!

(Photo taken inside)Lots of fast foods, burgers, pizzas, subs, cubans, etc... Within 30 minutes there are 3 or 4 major Malls with many different stores and shops.... There are also several 'tourist areas' that have shops that cater to tourists, if that is to your taste.

The property is normally available from September 1, through April 30. Regulations require a minimum 3-month rental. During the "WINTER" Months, 4 to 6-Month Rentals will be given PRIORITY and are PREFERRED! Do not overlook the possibility of a SUMMER RENTAL!

$850/ Month Direct TV Satellite and Internet Connection are included in the rent as well as the telephone service and the electric service. The only additional cost to you is Long-Distance Phone usage. For that, we just ask that you use phone charge cards for your LD calls.
For us to reserve the rental, we require a One-Month Security Deposit.
Park regulations require prospective renters to submit a Rental Application to the Park Management Office which must be approved by the Park Manager prior to occupancy.
The Security Deposit will be returned immediately should the Park Manager reject the Application for any reason.
